Because the excel spreadsheet will open in a new browser window, you may need to hold down the Ctrl key while clicking on the export button. It may be necessary to continue holding the Ctrl key until a message box appears and asks if you want to view the spreadsheet or save to disk.

How can I make sure the information I entered is always up to date? First and foremost, use the 'Save' button on the bottom of any screen on which you've changed information.  Then it's important to click the 'Refresh' button in the middle of the page (not the one on the browser) to make sure your updates display to you.  And finally, all of the information entered into ModernWeddingPlanner.com is professionally backed up each night to ensure that your information is available when you want it.

Who can access my personal wedding information on ModernWeddingPlanner.com? Only you can.  You create an account with ModernWeddingPlanner.com including a unique password which only you will know.  If you chose to give your email address and password to someone, they would have the ability to login and look at your information.  However, Modern Wedding Planner will never sell your personal information and all passwords are encrypted so we don't even have a way to look at them.

Can I group or sort information by the headers? Yes you can!  The headers on the Wedding Guests and Wedding RSVP's pages can be dragged up to group the information on that page.  For example, if you wanted to see all the guests by category on a single page, you'd drag the Category column header up and all of the information would be grouped by each guest category.  If you decide you don't want the guests grouped that way, just drag the category header back to where it was and the columns will display as they were before.  Sorting is even easier!  Just click on any of the heading titles and the contents of that column will sort alphabetically ascending or descending, depending on how many times you click the header.

How long are my wedding details active? Your information will be available by logging in using the email address and password you supplied at the time of registration until your one year wedding anniversary.  This will allow plenty of time to take care of any final details and make sure all necessary thank you notes have been sent out.
